there and back again

I just returned yesterday from a four-day trip to Paris with my sister (as Christine wrote about in the previous blog), primarily for visiting IRCAM and La Fondation Danoise, but also for a couple of concerts (Pierre Boulez and Ryoji Ikeda) and for a general impression of the pulsating, vibrating french big city.
It was amazing - Paris is the place to be. Multiethnic, multicultural, old medieval churches and architechture side by side with massive futuristic buildings like the Centre Pompidou and the Louvre Pyramide. I love it there, I want to live there.

Here's me at the Centre Pompidou.

By the way check out the new album from Gang Gang Dance called "Saint Dymphna" - it's a monster! The track "Princes" is pure genius.

Chill,

Epicentre spredt i verden

Endelig kom vores bassist Esben hjem fra USA. Hurra!

Christine

one-year anniversary

Last year our debut-album "Fokus" was officially released last year in Denmark and internationally on November 11th. During the following week the album came out on internet-stores, stores in Denmark and digitally on Napster, iTunes and all the other digital distributors and was very well received by the Danish press and most importantly our listeners.

So this week is kind of an anniversary week for us.
Hurrah!

In the beginning of this week our bassist and vocalist Esben came home from a 2-month trip to the US. Me and the others in the band have really missed him and his talent, so we're extremely glad to have him back. His return also means the beginning of massive rehearsing - I've written a lot of new stuff, so we have a lot to work on for our winter/spring-concerts, which we are really looking forward to.

Anyway, here's a picture of Malte working on our live-video for "Angst i biler" in Final Cut Pro - he did an amazing job. You can watch the video here on the blog, on MySpace or on YouTube - whatever turns you on...

Have a good one.

welcome to the epicentre blog

Hi,

This is our new blog.
Here we'll publish news, videos, music, photos and most importantly random thoughts.
It is a way for us to share our daily reflections on every issue and aspect of the band, music in general and our lives.

We'll write as often as possible.

Here's a picture of us playing. That's a nice start.

Thank you.

- Anders
